§ 2.38.280. Bail processing fee.

The Granite City police department shall impose and collect a fee of twenty dollars for bail processing against any person arrested for violating a bailable municipal ordinance or a state or federal law. This twenty-dollar fee shall be added to, and collected with, bail bond monies tendered to the Granite City police department. This fee shall not be collected or imposed where arrestees are released on their own recognizance, or where otherwise released from custody without payment by or on behalf of the arrestee.
