§ 5.110.100. Certificate of registration—Owner/occupant exemption.

The owner/occupant of a single-dwelling house may, with the assistance of any member of his family household, personally perform in such house, any work governed by the Mechanical Code or NFPA Code without such certificate of registration; provided, that such owner shall obtain a permit for any such work and shall request an inspection as hereinafter provided.
