§ 5.110.120. Classification of certificate of registration—Residential—Commercial.

A.

Residential—Class A. Required for the repair of heating, air conditioning and refrigerating systems in private residences used for family household purposes but does not include the installation of ducting and/or boiler piping and/or equipment replacement.

B.

Residential—Class B. Required for the repair and installation of heating, air conditioning and refrigerating systems in private residences used for family household purposes and includes installation of ducting and/or boiler piping and/or equipment replacement. A Class B residential certificate of registration entitles the holder thereof to perform services contained within Class A residential certificate of registration.

C.

Commercial—Class A. Required for the repair of heating, air conditioning and refrigerating systems which are to be used in conjunction with or as an aid to any commercial enterprise but does not include the installation of ducting and/or boiler piping and/or equipment replacement. A Class A commercial certificate of registration entitles the holder thereof to perform services contained within Class A residential certificate of registration.

D.

Commercial—Class B. Required for the repair and installation of heating, air conditioning, refrigerating, ventilating, process piping, air filtration, and dust collection systems which are to be used in conjunction with or as an aid to any commercial or industrial enterprise and includes installation of ducting, boiler piping, related metal work and related fire extinguishing systems. A Class B commercial certificate of registration entitles the holder thereof to perform services contained with residential Class A and B and Class A commercial certificate of registration.
