§ 5.110.160. Permit—Emergency work.

In cases of emergency, the mechanical contractor shall make every effort to contact the mechanical inspector prior to proceeding with the work; provided, however, that in the event the mechanical contractor is unable to contact the mechanical inspector, the mechanical contractor may proceed with the work but must file the application for a permit within 24 hours, Sundays and holidays excepted. Sufficient evidence of the effort to contact the mechanical inspector must be provided.
